Today is National Thank You Birth Control Day 11.13!

Oh my reliable birth control.

For the last so many years you've made my heart sing.

You've kept me baby free and helped make sure that my period would come guaranteed.

You've decreased my flow and helped my aches.

You've allowed me to skip periods, just to take breaks.

You've taken away my migraines and ovarian cysts.

You've helped me improve my mood when I was pissed.

You've helped my endometriosis and decreased my risk of pregnancy.

You've even helped decrease my risk of uterine and ovarian malignancy.

You've taken away my acne and made my face not so tacky.

You've help me become a professional and for that you deserve this confessional.

I will never stop singing your praise.

I just need long term prevention from kids I will have to raise.

Hope you laughed a couple times like me.
